About Jim Maltz – Founder & CEO

Jim Maltz began his career in 1983:

Jim specializes in retirement planning for those who are thinking of, or are near retirement. Jim’s strength is his ability and insight in identifying and solving issues to improve and enhance his client’s financial well-being.

He has personal experience in dealing with watching his parents go through the process of entering nursing homes and rehab facilities before their passing.  Those circumstances reinforced Jim’s determination to become educated in Medicare, Medicaid, and Nursing Home issues so that he could share his knowledge with seniors and families in similar situations.

For more than 30 years Jim has taken numerous courses to become informed and to stay appraised of all the latest changes and developments in elder planning and financial issues pertaining to elder planning and financial issues, including, taxes as they relate to seniors.

He is a frequent speaker to Boston Senior Citizen Groups, hospitals, and area Councils On Aging. He is considered an expert on asset protection, tax savings, and catastrophic illness. He has written numerous articles on senior issues on the local, state and national level.

Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts and Master’s degree from Northeastern University.
